A Martian tripod attacks a house in rural England.

This diorama is made from bits and ends, cardboard and stuff, and fits under a glass dome.

The tripod design is based on Henrique Alvim Corrêa’s 1906 illustrations for The War of the Worlds (an example of which you can see below). The Martian tripod is made from a used Nespresso coffee pod and bits of plumbing, the house from paper and cardboard, and the characters are modified HO scale figures.
